The BonEx kit is designed to include all the instruments needed for bone splitting technique and is ideal for bone enlargement. It consists of surgical stainless steel expanders of 5 different diameters that are used to gradually expand the ridge. To install the implant to the desired depth, a full-thickness incision is made on the crestal midline and (piezo) saw is used to cut the bone . Pilot drill (lance) is used to find and prepare the site on the implant followed by a 2 mm cage to further open the surgical site followed by a bone expander to expand the area for the implant. Expanders are used at a slow speed with a torque of 50 ncm. After implant placement, you can perform a one-step or two-step approach, depending on the case.
