Success factors for efficient and modern implantology. Evidence based approach for making decisions.
Today's modern implant systems differ greatly from their predecessors and are now also strongly dependent on their range of indications. Here, requirements such as immediate implantation, placement in different bone qualities and behavior in relation to soft and hard tissue must be taken into account. In addition, there are also modern types of reconstructions such as immediate temporization, the all-on-x concept or the possibility of the integration into the digital workflow.
This lecture will go into all the points mentioned above, present and explain them using an implant system as an example. The focus is on the presentation of the biological components, which are important for an implant system of today both for short-term success with immediate implantation and immediate restoration as well as for long-term success through the stability of the surrounding tissue structures.
