A new future in Host Bone Regeneration
Better methods and protocols for optimal outcomes
Dr. Stuart Kilner (UK)
Dr. Gita Zommerfelde-Antipina (LV)
With proven success rates of over 99% and no need for traditional collagen membranes, Alloplastic materials are a significant step forward for both clinicians and patients undergoing bone grafting procedures. A mixture of B-TCP and Calcium Sulphate, the material offers a wide range of benefits.
During this event, Dr Stuart Kilner will discuss working with host healing and how we can optimise it using Alloplastic materials with a particular focus on the relatively simple surgical techniques and mindset needed to achieve optimal outcomes. This will include an extensive selection of documented case studies from the speaker’s own personal experience.
These concepts originate from medical fields where there is extensive research in the importance of returning the host tissue back to its original state.
Learning Points for the presentation will include:
Why “True Host Bone Regeneration”? Overview of research and personal experiences
Graft material selection – how to choose?
Removing the traditional collagen membrane
Applying Alloplastic materials to a wide variety of clinical situations, including numerous long-term case studies from the speaker and several new cases
