DIGITAL IMMEDIATE POSTERIORS FROM A to Z

by Dimitris Kolovos, DDS, MSc Prosthodontics

TIME: 15 May 2024 kell 17:00-20:00
LOCATION: ONLINE
COURSE TYPE: 1,5h lecture + 1,5h practical hands-on on models
PRICE: free

We are pleased to invite you to MINEC Study Club  "DIGITAL IMMEDIATE POSTERIORS FROM A to Z". The invitation-only workshop will take place on May 15th from 17:00–20:00.

 TOPIC

The training focuses on immediate implantation in the molar region using guided surgery. While the success probability of immediate implantation in the posterior teeth area has been a debatable topic for years, it has now been scientifically proven that the success rate of immediate wide (5.5+) implants is 97.3% after 6 years of the final crown placement, making it an absolutely justified treatment method.

During the training, you will gain knowledge on how to successfully apply immediate implantation in the molar region and thereby achieve several advantages over the 2-stage approach, including:

  • preservation of bone and soft tissue volume,

  • better emergence profile,

  • less trauma,

  • lower costs,

  • shorter treatment time.

We will learn how to solve various situations, including how to successfully place an implant immediately when there is no interdental septum and/or it is impossible to stabilize the implant apically due to the sinus.

 FORMAT

The evening consists of a 1.5-hour lecture followed by a 1.5-hour practical workshop on models. The models are specially prepared by Dr. Kolovos to practice immediate implantation in three different situations (wide septum, thin septum, no septum).

 REGISTRATION

The number of participants is limited to 18 participants. The training is free for you, but as the number of spots is limited, please respond as soon as possible (if possible, please register now here).
